Acts of Jesus Christ Defy Laws of Nature

Jesus, while still in the flesh, displayed authority over the elements, over the natural, because he is always supernatural.  He is always God, even when he was in the flesh as a man, he was still God.  Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever!

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Jesus, the creator of all, willingly subjected himself to great pain and suffering, even unto death, to prove his divine love for each one of us.  But even on the cross, he was eternal, supernatural.  One word by Him and all the pain and suffering would disappear.  But, it was His Will to sacrifice himself.  This is the true baptism of Christ, His death and resurrection.  The Jonah sign.

And presently the fig tree withered away. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. 33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
