1. A painful emotion or passion excited by an expectation of evil, or the apprehension of impending danger. fear expresses less apprehension than dread, and dread less than terror and fright. The force of this passion, beginning with the most moderate degree, may be thus expressed, fear dread, terror, fright. fear is accompanied with a desire to avoid or ward off the expected evil. fear is an uneasiness of mind, upon the thought of future evil likely to befall us.

FEAR is the passion of our nature which excites us to provide for our security, on the approach of evil.

Fear is the number one killer. How many of you know this? Fear causes heart disease. It causes cancer. It causes other diseases like mental problems. It causes fear, anxiety and worry. Then it causes doubt.

Now, Jesus said–and this is the very foundation, fear not. How many of you know that? He would always say, “Fear not, fear not.” An angel appears; fear not, fear not, only believe. If you fear not, then you can only believe. “Fear not” is the word.

Faith has a courage, it is positive, it is powerful. Fear has negative results, it leads to doubt.
Faith accepts the promises of God, it holds to the promises. Fear is suspicious of God’s prophets and promises.
Faith makes the unseen become seen - a reality. Fear causes you to withdraw from the real supernatural word and power.
Human nature has doubt within itself, and demon powers will cause you to hold back that deep faith that is in you. Resist Satan and believe God’s promises, you’ll have a miracle.
Faith is the main line where God talks back. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
