Chapter 1:
Jesus is God!
v2 Jesus is heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds (John 1:3, Rev 10:6)
v3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high
Chapter 2:
The Lord Jesus Christ (God) became flesh and blood (human) to deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death (the devil), that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God (not on earth but in the Kingdom of Heaven), to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Chapter 3
Jesus Christ is the Apostle and High Priest over his own people (house, church) that he himself established is worthy of all glory and honour
Chapter 4
Believe and fear God
Labor to enter into God’s rest, lest you fall to an evil unbelieving heart
Chapter 5
Jesus is the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; a high priest after the order of Melchisedec. (Scroll 30)
Chapter 6
v1-2 The principles of the doctrine of Christ; repentance, faith toward God, Baptisms; laying on of hands, resurrection, eternal judgement, perfection (spiritual growth)
v4-8 The danger of backsliding
v13-18 God because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself the promise, confirmed it by an oath, for it was impossible for God to lie
Chapter 7
Jesus is Melchisedec, king of Salem which is, King of peace, priest of the most high God, King of righteousness, Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
He ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Chapter 8
Jesus is an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens. A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, he obtained a more excellent ministry, he is the mediator of a better covenant, established upon better promises.

Chapter 9
Christ, an high priest of good things to come, not made with hands, but by his own blood, the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit is the mediator of the new testament.
Christ put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. A more excellent sacrifice.

Chapter 10
Jesus Christ entered into the world to take away the law of the burnt offerings and sacrifices and establish the second more perfect offering, one sacrifice for sins for ever, the blood of Christ.
Therefore, draw near to God with a true (repenting) heart in full assurance of faith in Jesus Christ.
Chapter 11
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
v 9-10 Abraham had faith in God’s promise and a desire to live in a city founded and built by God - a heavenly city (v16)
Chapter 12
Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The test and trials of our faith are for our benefit, as God’s children we need his correction in order to be partakers of his holiness.
v26&27 Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. …that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Chapter 13
v8 Jesus Christ never changes
Instruction for a christian walk
Galatians 5:25-26 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

v9-16 Be established with the Grace of Jesus Christ not through sacrifice of animals wherein there is no benefit. Rather offer the sacrifice of Praise to God continually (do good to communicate praise to God), for with such sacrifice God is well pleased.
