The Ram and the He Goat
(and the Little Horn Kingdom)

The Bible used a Ram in Daniel 8:4-8 to symbolize the kingdom of Media and Persia. In these verses we see the mighty he goat struck the ram a shattering blow moving against him with the fury of his power and with choler and conquered the kingdom! The he goat was the Grecian kingdom! (verse 21) Also the Bible speaks often of the sheep, ram and lamb! Jesus is portrayed this way in Revelation 5:6-7. The Lord uses animals to symbolize many things in the Scriptures, also portraying the rising and falling of kingdoms. And God himself using the symbol of the lion, eagle and dove. Amen!

A young man that conquered the world is included in one of Daniel's visions as we begin here. Now the first message in the series, spoke on the metals in the huge gigantic image, awesome scene Nebuchadnezzar saw that Daniel interpreted. Daniel 2 of that image revealed the concentration of wealth of those kingdoms revolved and evolved in those four metals.
The second message revealed the raw force and power of those kingdoms and all of this will be reconstructed again at the end of time. In Revelation 13, the new system of the antichrist will come forth. All these fallen kingdoms will rise again a be reconstructed back together again under a head of power. This message reveals the religious horn and his character. It unveils his starting and his direction and where he winds up.
Now we're getting into the religious power that's behind the wealth and behind the power of the animals, the force and who is to head it up. Each message a little bit more is added, and the spotlight shines until it finally focuses down right on a few events at the end of time and it'll even become more dynamic.
Now this chapter Daniel 8, it's a mysterious chapter, it has a two fold or three fold meaning in several places, meaning there's about seven different meanings all coming back together as one thing.

Daniel 8:1-2
1 In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first. 2 And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.
Daniel was transported! Absolutely! He was transported outside of where he was at. Now you remember Philip was transported, Ezekiel was tranported and Elijah was transported -- finally went away in a fiery chariot. Now Daniel was taken off the ground and we notice the he goat was off the ground too, both of them symbolizing something happened there. We're getting into a dramatic uplift.
Daniel 8:3
3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
Notice in this vision the ram and the he goat, the symbolisms of the head of gold and the lion is gone, it'll appear down here in this little horn -- watch in a minute! Now the one was higher than the otehr horn on the ram! The lower horn was Mede, which was not as strong and superior as the higher horn -- which was the Persian kingdom. It was a dual empire -- Mede-Persian, and it came up last. You also remember this, the silver in the image -- Daniel 2 and the bear in Daniel 7 is the same thing as the ram. But the lion and the head of gold is gone, it'll appear right down here in just a minute.
Daniel 8:4
4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts [no kingdom or man or anything] might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; [he was powerful!] but he did according to his will, [God let him have his own way] and became great.
Now he pushed, it shows the directions he pushed, westward, northward, southward. You remember the Mede-Persian bear in Chapter 7 -- the three ribs in his mouth. That's the direction that he swept in conquest. The three ribs in the bear's mouth appear back again in the winds as he swept in the directions here, and there it is, tied right together there.
Daniel 8:5
5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

It was a horn of sight -- military genius, a dictator, a king, a prince -- it was a Grecian king Alexander.
Daniel 8:6
6 And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
He had fury with him! Now this here is the same as the leopard with wings and four heads when it parted and his kingdom was given to four generals and became four different nations out of one nation.
Daniel 8:7
7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler [he had more than ordinary strength -- he was demonic and powerful!) against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
Now remember, Alexander, the Grecian kingdom was the belly in Chapter 2 -- the belly of brass and thighs. He was the leopard with wings and four heads, now he's the powerful he goat that smote the ram.
Daniel 8:8
8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; [he died, drunk in debauchery -- he had no more worlds to conquer -- he was gone) and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven. (Four generals spring forth.)
Now this he goat, as I spoke before, was a Macedonian king -- Alexander the Great. He was a general at about 16 or 18 years old -- in 334 BC. he leaped across the Hellspont in leopard-like fashion and powerful and conquered most of the known world and come to the Mede-Persian empire and smote it to the ground and passed into oblivion. Lightning-quick conquest was the order of the day for him -- he was a military genius.
At the end of time that kind of a spirit that was in him will go right back in the body of a leopard, in Revelation 13 and the feet of a bear and thge mouth of a lion -- see! Those spirits will return again.
Now he was broken and four generals stood up -- Gassander was one of them, Ptolemy was another one, Lysimachus was another, and Seleucus was the other general and it broke in four different directions, and his kingdom was given over. Now I named the generals and I'll name the nations in a moment.

Daniel 8:9-10
9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. [which is the Holy Land) 10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; [powerful!] and it cast down some of the host and of the stars [Christians and saints, Hebrew prophets and saints] to the ground, and stamped upon them.
This little horn came out of one of these four divided kingdoms -- one of the heads, one of the general's kingdoms later on in history. Now remember, a while ago when I said, in this particular vision it repeats itself again and it relates both back to the animals and the metal -- in Chapter 1 and 7 of Daniel. But something is missing -- the head of gold, and the lion is not here -- it's gone, there's a blank space. Sure the kingdom has fallen but it appears again that the little horn will appear in Babylon -- he'll come again. It's that mysterious religion that started with Nimrod and winds up in Revelation 17 and 18 -- Mystery Babylon, the little horn and the scarlet beast.
Daniel 8:11
11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
He stepped right in the sanctuary, saying that he was god and cast it down to the ground!
Daniel 8:12
12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice [he just went against it!] by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
See, the temple of the Jews that's built -- he'll come in this place and he'll just take away the sacrifice when they start to reinstitute it again. We'll go into this later in the week. And he'll cast it down by reason of transgression -- Israel's national sin, this means transgression, and because it casteth the truth to the ground. Because of Israel's national sin -- it prospered.
Now we'll stop there and go back to where these four kingdoms split and we'll prove it by what the angel Gabriel speaks unto Daniel, and the different angels that appeared unto him.
Now when Alexander crumbled, the great horn fell. This horn was between the two eyes. In the last message the eyes and the mouth were in the horn -- a religious figure, see, changed. Now, four generals -- we named them; now the nations that go with this are four different nations -- Egypt, Syria, Macedonia (Greece), and Asia-Minor [modern-day Turkey]. Out of one of these will come forth the little horn!

We know that during history out of the Seleucia dynasty came forth Assyria and he had a type of prophecy, but he was not the fulfillment. The characteristic fulfillment of this prophecy will be done at the end of the time -- the angel said. But his name was Antiochus Epiphanes and he went and tore down the altar and it practised and it prospered. but he was only a type of the beast that was to come at the end of time. Now that's in history and he faded from the scene.
Now here comes one and this is to be at the end of time -- this is not to be at that time, now that was a dual prophecy. He did just exactly what the antichrist will do at the end of time, he was sort of fulfilling it, to a point, showing what would be hereafter. He never magnified him to the prince of the host -- no, he never did those kind of things.
Now we find out that the Lord is showing us the direction. The little horn takes his form here. Now Nimrod started the Babylonian mystics and the cults and all of the way that they worshipped idols. It was transported into the kingdom of Babylon, the golden head, and it set in there. Then later these Mede-Persian Empires and the Grecian king came and conquered this and they took their Babylonian cults and they fled, and they took it to Pergamos.
Now Pergamos, now Lysimachus kingdom -- one of those four generals, was in Turkey. The seven church ages is right around Turkey and Greece and right around there where Apostle Paul was -- and Paul was there, and the province of Turkey is called Pergamos.
Editor Note: Ancient Pergamos (also called Pergamon) was a wealthy Hellenistic capital in northwest Turkey renowned for its dramatic hilltop acropolis, massive royal library, and status as a major center for pagan and imperial worship.
Now the Pergamos church age appeared on the scene. They fled to Pergamos, the Babylonians did. That's the Empire of one of Daniel's fallen generals, one of the kingdoms, the four nations.
When they went, they set up shop there. They had the sign of the serpent, they even allowed serpents to crawl through the building, they claimed in history. They practised prostitution right in the Temple. Apostle Paul wrote about in one place a Temple that was there and according also to Diana the goddess at that time in Ephesus. But this was in Pergamos, where the sign of the serpent was. It was all kind of mysteries -- shrouded in mysteries and Babylonian cults, and they fled into this place.
Revelation 2:13
13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
See, there he comes back again. Then it got too host down in there and the priests and the different ones, the cults -- quickly they moved from Pergamos and they went over into Western Europe, settled around Rome. The Caesars ruled the world -- Empires!

During the age of OPergamos, Constantine the Emperor, made [compromised] Christianity the state religion and mixed heathenism, Babylonianism -- all of it together.
Then the Thyatira age broke forth from Pergamos there, went on into where I just named. It was the Jezebel age and this is where the Pontiff stood up -- the Papal throne stood in power. The Caesars crumbled and the successor stood. It became a religious kingdom, the seventh head stood forth -- five are fallen, one is -- Revelation 17:8 - 11. The sixth one is Rome. The seventh one, a religious head -- he will give way to the eighth one, which is the same as the seventh one. This religious system Babylon stand up, the scarlet man steps forth and he's with the whore who rides in Revelation 17 -- there are your kingdoms.
I'll name the kingdoms through history that the Babylonian religion followed. It was Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Mede-Persian Empire, the Grecian Empire, the Roman Empire, then the religious empire -- Papal Throne set in, then we have the eighth empire -- it controls the world with the Babylonian religion and the beast stands powerful upon the earth.
All the wealth, all food, all industry -- everything seems to work right into their hands. There isn't anything -- it's destiny, it's providence -- divine! Because the people of the earth would not do what God said, so another one will come in his own name and they will believe! How many of you believe that?
Now we've got the trail of that little horn, we caught him there. He was over here in Chapter 7 too, with his vast kingdom. He winds up the little horn in Revelation 13 -- the mouth of the lion, the body of a leopart and the feet of a bear and his kingdom is wounded and he turns into the eighth kingdom in Chapter 17:8-10.
Daniel 8:13-14
13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint [and this saint was the Palmoni -- a wonderful numberer of secrets] said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; [2300 days / 360 days = 6.39 yrs] then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Now this happened once ... this vision is of the morning and evenings.

Now in the original, it was 2300 mornings and evenings which split that to 1150 days, the exact time of the Triulation we spoke about, about Antiochus Epiphanes. Now watch this, it has a dual compound meaning -- you split it. The angel at the bottom says it's the vision of the morning and evening. Meaning that 2300 days is six years plus several months. [Daniel 8:14]
In other places we get to, during the last chapter, we come right down to the 1335 -- Daniel 12:12
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
That's the lot that all of the tribes shall stand in, of the Israelites. When they reinstitute their sacrifices, no doubt this has something to do with that. But it gives it 1150 days because it's a dual prophecy -- you've got to take it both ways. It happened once in history and it'll happen again in history. The little horn will come.
You can read Ezekiel 48:21, and you can find they'll stand in their lot upon the earth when they annoint the Most Holy and the Temple grounds and all of that -- that is the Millennium Temple, not the one that's coming here during the tribulation.
Now this angel is here called a Palmoni because there are secrets in this chapter and they're hidden.
Daniel 8:15-17
15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. 16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision. 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
When shall it be? At the time of the end! Although there was a minor fulfillment, the major part will take place at the last day -- that's what the angel's telling him.
Daniel 8:18-22
18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright. 19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be. 20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. 21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. [Alexander] 22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms [four nations] shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

They will not stand in the power of the Grecian king Alexander, but they will stand in four powers. It says four nations and those nations were Egypt, Syria, Macedonia, and Asia-Minor. There's where we come to Pergamos and where he fled Pergamos and went right straight on across.
Daniel 8:23
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
When the cup of iniquity has reached the fullness and sent upon the earth, now this individual that's to come -- he's playing for keeps!
When we get in that stronghold in the next message, you're going to see him in the height of his madness -- it's going to be incredible to hear that. A king of fierce countenance, he's almost like an animal -- powerful! Not at first though -- he's lamblike. He comes on later like this. Fierce countenance; he understands dark sentences and shall stand up. The Bible said wiser than Daniel in Ezekiel 28:2 -- wiser than Daniel! See, that's going somewhere! Incarnate power of Lucifer, the dragon!
Daniel 8:24
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
The Israelites -- many of the Israelites, there will be a number of those protected. God's hand will be upon a number of those Israelites and then the rest of the people on the earth at that time should they be there.
Daniel 8:25
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
Industry -- craft prosper in his hand. He knows how to move the prices and everything else, and he'll put everything under control -- they'll put it in his hands and craft shall prosper in his hand. Rich! Go to Ezekiel 28. By prosperity he'll lay them out! And by peace, just destroy them!
He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. Now there's his mistake! And besides that, there's just no place to go now! Alexander, or none of them, can help him! Gone! Won't even have to touch him; he'll just fade like powder -- it's God! See, the Lord gives him that kind of power because the people wouldn't mind the Lord -- won't do what God says. Be broken without hand! [Not by man, but by God!]

Daniel 8:26
26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
Now it was the morning and evening, splitting and dividing those 2300 days down -- 1150 days and right down there, the Lord doing it. [1150 days / 360 days = 3.19 yrs]
Daniel 8:27
27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
He did the King's business -- powerful! He did some of the king's business but Belshazzar didn't know him very well until the handwriting on the wall. But Nebuchadnezzar knew who Daniel was! See, they wanted to shove Daniel back.
Now, these powers and these forces coming upon the earth -- we get into where the Temple is built in the land of Israel. We get into where he gets into this stronghold -- powerful! He has gold in there stacked up like cordwood and all the treasures, and everything is at his feet! He's a sinister figure! He's about to appear upon the earth -- about to be released and revealed.
Now in Daniel chapter 3, Nebuchadnezzar gathered up all the gold in Babylon, and the province and he made a golden image, which was -- he created a state religion. He wanted the people to rally around it. Everything he did was powerful, large, grandiose. Also at the end of the age, same thing will be gathered up and done. It was ninety feet high including the pedestal and when they played all kinds of music, everyone bowed down to worship the image. Nebuchadnezzar later repented for this and was sad that he did it, because it was a prophetic picture of the end time.
Note the six's also in Chapter 3 that are involved -- that ninety feet. You think that people today out there are buying gold and different things in Europe. He would make most of those a pauper; he built the ninety-foot height of gold, stood it up on a pedestal, and put a fiery furnace there. It's a prophetic foreview of the last days.
It was in this kingdom of Babylon that a man's heart was changed to a beast -- Daniel 4. Remember the idols of the desecrator will be in Chapter 11 about 35-43, when he sets up the idols -- the idols of the desecrator. Revelation 13:11-18 shows the image that is set up unto the beast. Also ecclesiastical system, false religions upon the earth and cults.
Now at the end of time some startling events are going to take place. Through the Chapters of Daniel, he showed an industrial age.

There will be great famines during the Tribulation -- powerful things will take place upon the earth, floods, and all manners of things, until, as I told you before, inflation would ride wild unless they do something about it.
In Eden [Genesis 2:12] the gold in that land was good that God created.
Genesis 2:12
12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
But when it reaches at the end of time, men misuse it and the wealth of the earth in order to bring dictatorship. Then it's called the bad gold instead of good, because it has been misused. You can misuse your currency; you can misuse your gold.
Jesus said, Get the coin out of the fish's mouth, the piece of money and bring it to pay your debts. He used it right and proper. I never saw the Lord give anybody any paper, but I know he gave Abraham sacksful of silver and gold, we know that's in the Bible.
We know this, that Joseph collected all the money on the earth -- metal. We know that Solomon made gold on the ground like stones and God touched him and he prospered, but we know also he failed God at one time and repented at the end of the days. So we know it can be properly used and misused.
I can say this, that upon the earth, unless they can do something about this inflation, men are turning back toward the metal. Because something is going to occur upon the earth. It seems that inflation, like the dollar, is like a tree, and locusts are just eating it away! They're trying to do something.

Revelation 18 says the merchandise was the silver and gold, fine silks and wheat and barley -- that's your commodity market. Remember this thing is set on fire at the end of time!
The religious desecrator is working with the world governments.
At first the part of those 7 years could be plentiful, but the Bible said there will be famine and chaos and it may be well all of the metals become high during that time. It may turn over during the Tribulation that it becomes so prominent until they worship it. The Bible says they have idols of silver and gold -- They worship it!
Isaiah 2:7-8
7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots: 8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
Isaiah 2:20
20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship,
to the moles and to the bats;
What has happened? Something has happened to the financial system and somebody has power! The dollar's in debt! They're going to wake up one of these mornings and the ones with the other are going to say "Now we rule". Two or three men will have all the power. Watch out! Things are taking place upon the earth!
When they get it in their hands -- there's power! There'll be somebody come like Joseph, but he won't do like Joseph -- he'll gather it all up, but he will not do like Joseph [Joseph did for good]; it'll be a mark behind it -- and finally a mark will come into power!
It will be a powerful union, economically, politically, and militarily. When the world has a food shortage in similarity as we did in the gas shortage, we can see that when the supply is low how it will be controlled by rationing and a symbol and a mark, or somewhat like this -- they'll give a rationing.
Famines will grow even more severe entering the last part of the Tribulation. These things will take place. If you'll notice, you can go down to the store and buy Roman Meal bread with the prince on there with the sword and there's a horse on there, a white one, and a red one on the package -- it's like the apocalypse even prophesying it. Bread, like I said before, could be ten or fifteen dollars a loaf just for some during the Tribulation.
Now these are the last few days that I'm speaking of, all of this may not happen tomorrow or the next day -- but it's going to happen in the last days. People, we're getting ready for a new system. The antichrist system is coming upon the earth. There's a new change all over the world! You buy that and see if you don't see the crown on those horses riding out through there.
He said in there, in Revelation 6:5-6, a measure of wheat for a penny. Well of course, in our day, that's about twenty dollars, or somewhere in there. It said, three measures of barley for a penny, hurt not the oil and the wine. It showed all of that in there -- that it seemed rationing -- scales were used and it showed inflation was wild!
The Lord said that gold would be prominent if for no other reason but idols and for no other reason but for ornaments and for no other reason but to wear it. It will be prominent! I mean it will be prominent towards the end of time!
The same thing happened -- 1836 -- the government here, it was a total collapse in the United States and the Government would accept no paper, no notes or nothing and they said give us silver or gold, we won't take anything and it collapsed -- a depression hit!
1929 a dpression hit and then of course they pulled it back from the people and then we put out paper. They could strengthen the currency, but finally there's got to be something take place and the antichrist system, the beast powers will control the world! It will be through the money system and the food and it's THUS SAITH THE LORD -- they will do it and I will bring them to it! I will bring them to it! God! Because they disobey!
The beast will control the power of treasures and trade worldwide.
Daniel was greatly beloved, and these events are to be revealed at the end of time. People, be wise, be careful! I'm not against prospering and having coins and different things like that. What I'm trying to do is to reveal new systems of religion, new systems of credit, new systems of economy, new systems of food, new systems worldwide about to take place.
Like I say, going into the Great Tribulation is when all of this will be even ten times more prominent than what I mentioned because it's going into there. That's when it'll take place and you won't have very much time to see any of it -- but it will be just as the Bible gives it here! You can't get away from talking about the gold and silver and the industry here because Daniel is full of it clear on out in his chapters. It'll end up in Ezekiel 38, when they ride right down in hordes, come right down and it says what they're coming for!

We're nearing the end of the age, the scarlet man will step forth with his lady -- in Revelation 17 -- and they will take the wealth of the earth and tie it in a knot! Read Ezekiel 28, it's a dual prophecy. Read the latter part of Daniel 11, and you'll begin to know where we're going.
He [antichrist] will have a worldwide trading market -- there will be headquarters and it will be controlled. This is coming to the earth and the Lord will come and meet the beast at Armageddon. This is going to take place on the earth!
Now Lord, I'm going to pray for the people that have heard this message, it's true and it's from God. We're to keep our eyes on the Lord and no one else. Now bless the ones that are listening to this and guide them and show them what to do Lord, and let them be solid and firm in what they do. Let them always seek ye first and then Lord, you'll bless them. May the Lord bless who's listening to this message. God bless your heart.

Lift up your hands -- the Lord loves you! We all love you! Come on, lift up your hands -- let God's Spirit, let the spirit of unity -- let it come on like a dove and let the Lord love your heart! Touch their bodies Jesus, bless them in the name of the Lord! God's Spirit is going just like a whirlwind -- just like smoke going up there. Touch them in the audience, take away the pains, Lord.
Bring them back again Lord, under they power and wings. Oh, you can feel the Spirit of God -- let the Holy Ghost power come on you! Let's have a Holy Ghost rally here! Glory to God! Hallelujah! The Lord! We worship Him!
