Matthew 7:13-14

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The way of the "court of popular prejudice" is broad and wide, and most who follow it do so blindly.  This is the downfall of many believers.  If we do not solidify our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by reading His authorized Word for ourselves, we are subject to the deception of popular opinion.
