Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Perspective
Jesus is the door, the way, the truth! The only way to have everlasting life is by repenting of your sin and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your saviour. Following organized religion and false doctrines is trying to get in by an unauthorized way. There are many false religions and doctrines, there is only one true path, the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ, the authorized Word!

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
